Neighborhood Highlight

My new favorite grocery store to shop at. It's just up the street from where we live... We hadn't been able to pin down a grocery store to shop at regularly until we paid a visit to this one last night. I do still like the Sunflower Market on 700 East in addition to the new Whole Foods at Trolley Square. But nothing beats the atmosphere of this new Harmons (we have yet to visit the brand new one at City Creek). It's small, it's cozy. It has great produce and a great selection of products. I couldn't be happier with another grocer. 

Gluten-Free Recipes

Another New Year's resolution (now that the holiday baking is concluded): commence Gluten-free diet. Off to a slow start like most everything else this year, but I have started my research. And I have made some awesome finds in the way of Gluten-free recipes as well! Here's one of my favorite finds today: 

Gluten-Free Strawberries & Cream Cupcakes, yum! 

I'm not really a fan of meats, so I have mostly steered clear of the entrées selections in favor of the alternative breads (w/o your traditional wheat flour that has gluten in it), soups, and fruits and vegetable dishes. I would go vegetarian, but I still enjoy me some chicken and beef every so often (also not a fan of pork or various other kinds of meats obviously). And going vegan is entirely out of the question because I doubt that I would ever be able to give up my dairy (mmm, cheddar). Although, I still consider the advantages to eliminating animal byproducts from my diet every so often...

Anyway, here's just a small selection of some of the recipes I've gathered today:

With food that looks and sounds this good, I wonder that I didn't try this sooner!
