I like for life to be a challenge. Keeps things interesting. Keeps me going. Whatever the activity. Photography. Literature. Science (Meteorology). Math. I've always got some project in the works. 

I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Meteorology several years ago but then decided to do something different. Five years later, I completed a Bachelor's of Art degree in English. What am I doing now? Nothing of any consequence really. When I completed my first degree, I had the mentality that I was going to accomplish something great in my life...

Some things change.

As I have gotten older, personal success and accomplishment have become much less important to me. I'd rather focus my time and energy on the things that really interest me. What this often means is that I take more of a meandering path through life than a straight one. Wasn't what my mom wanted for me. Hell, it goes against everything anyone ever told me about establishing a career for myself when I got older. If it means that I'm happy though, it means that I'm happy.
